AI has been the top of everyone’s mind for several years now - yet its impact on resources, particularly water, can be overlooked. Ecolab, however, has used AI-driven insights to unlock performance and growth for its customers while reducing its footprint through its advanced water management solutions.
Every Climate Week NYC, Ecolab hosts an executive dinner with C-suite guests across industries to discuss how water impacts their operations and business. This year, Ecolab challenged us to develop an interactive exhibit that would spotlight AI in a constructive way and acknowledge its impact but also its potential to be a solution
for sustainable growth.
Solution
Water is essential to everything that thinks. From humans to animals and even AI. At Ecolab's executive dinner, we invited AI to poetically share its thoughts on the importance of water, and the ways impacts business, culture and the world around us. These poetic reflections are uniquely informed by real-world data, woven into the AI's creative process.
We used AI to interpret both hard and soft facts about its relationship with water, from the water required to cool data centers to the breakthroughs it enables across critical areas of human progress and transformed them into poems. Each poem was illuminated in scrolling LED lights on 3D objects. Patterns filled the background and were responsive to movement.
